Carrier exclusions apply at the order level rather than the product level.
If a shipment is fulfilled using an excluded carrier, the entire order will be marked Unprotected.
How to Exclude Carriers
- Open the Merchant Portal
- Go to Customise Cover → Carriers
- Select Edit
- Toggle the carriers you want to exclude
- Save and confirm
This is useful if your courier already provides insurance or you want Parcel Protect to cover shipments only from specific carriers.
How It Appears in Shipments
Orders shipped with excluded carriers will show:
- Unprotected
- Tooltip: Carrier exclusion
